Scouting: Probably the fastest player in the state of Michigan for the 2010 class, Mathis has been timed at 10.4 in the 100m dash. He has great hips for a cornerback, changes direction well and has developing cover skills.
While its clear that he will need to spend time in the weight room to make up for his lack of ideal height, he certainly makes up for it with speed.
I'm often asked to compare him to current Michigan and former Cass Tech cornerback Boubacar Cissoko. I'd say Cissoko was much more physical than Dior is, Mathis is certainly much faster.
