Junior All-American Combine

In the days before the US Army All-American game, many of the top junior and sophomore high school athletes in the country travel to San Antonio for the Junior All-American combine.

Attending the combine has reaped many benefits for players from the state of Michigan, bumping their recruiting ranking and increasing the amount of college attention they receive from coaches.

This year, the state of Michigan sends another very good group to San Antonio....

The attendees from the state of Michigan include...

Garrett Davis - OL - Willow Run (2o10)
Chris Devezin - OL - Cass Tech (2010)
Daniel Easterly - DB - Cass Tech (2010)
Ryan Griffin - DB - Ann Arbor Pioneer (2011)
Delonte Hollowell - DB - Cass Tech (?)
Jeremy Jackson - WR - Huron (2010)
Taurean Jackson - QB - JW Sexton (?)
Dior Mathis - DB - Cass Tech (2010)
Cameron Matusik - OL - Carman Ainsworth (2010)
Dwight Trammer - LB - Oak Park (2011)

  1. I have watched most of these kids play. This is a very talented group. How did they do?
Mathis (2010) is a speed demon who will probably be moved to slot at the next level. Griffin is a beast who plays RB/SS but is so aggressive against the run, Pioneer plays him almost like a LB. He is Fast and STRONG! Most likely will play SS or CB at the next level. Keep an eye on him!

His size an speed make him the prototype of the future for CBSS with WR's ranging 6'4'' to 6'6'' now days. Keep your eyes on Him...he should be a great one...
